Could we have a third option in the pill? That the Flames are where they should be.

Players on pace for or already near, at, or better than their career average for points:
- Bahl
- Coleman
- Coronato
- Kadri
- Pachal
- Pospisil
- Weegar
- Zary

Players on pace for or already better than their career average for goals (but not points):
- Andersson
- Huberdeau

How many people would pick "team is over achieving" if they felt it was only the goaltender?

The other thing he forgets is matchups and how our guys are mostly all not in the right role. We legit don’t have 1st line talent. Ideally you want Kadri and Huberdeau on your 2nd line. Andersson and Bahl as our top pairing.

He’s got them playing a system that is low event but we still have guys hitting career averages. Not sure what the expectation is but mid 30 year olds are not going to be having career years.

While I don't think coaching is necessarily an issue, it should be noted that Zary, is actually scoring less per game this season, while Pachal and Coronato have never played as many games as they have this season, either. Pospisil's PPG is down (slightly) and he has half as many goals as last year. There are some legitimate offensive issues this year. How much is due to coaching is an open question.

You have very poor analysis about the Flames. I know my opinions can be a bit over the top, but yours are in outer space.

At the start of the season, I don’t recall seeing one expert or one post suggesting the flames would be fighting for a playoff spot in march. As such, they are clearly over achieving. Since it’s a team game, I don’t agree with saying it’s all because of Wolf although I’m loving what he’s done this year.

Don’t think the poll is going the way he wanted. Quick someone send it to the experts.

Haha, projecting again. Should have kept your promise and left a long time ago.

If you really want to know why I can't stand your posts, look at what you posted to me above. You are completely unhinged, you're projecting again.

You have said you were going to leave this site about 10 times. Still here.

You have said you were going to stop crapping on Huska many times but keep bringing up your grudge.

You cried when people called you out for pretending to be an insider.

You fight with many people and can't handle if anyone has a different opinion than you. Again, unhinged.

Now redo the poll with the following since it's been decided the Flames are over achieving and some will sya that is all Huska.

Are the Flames overachieving because of:

1. Huska
2. Wolf
3. Defenseman
4. Forwards

No one is saying it’s all Huska lol.

It can be a combination of 1 and 2. His defensive shell has something to do with Wolf being good as well.

It’s the ridiculous posts about Huska holding back this offensive juggernaut here.

It's not specific enough to answer the question at the heart of the argument here. Is Huska a net positive or net negative for the Flames.

Flames are at the very bottom in goals for. I don't think anyone is saying they are an offensive juggernaut, but losing 10 OT games they would only need to be say 20th in GF and they would be in a way better position.

They give up the 10th most high danger chances, there is no defensive shell. They have a goalie playing great, that's it. That's the story.

Flames are at the bottom of the league in goals for. Several Flames are on pace for matching their typical career PPG. Most are not. So you can't give Huska any credit if the offensive department. In terms of goaltending, Wolf is well ahead of what I expected at this point in his career. How much of this is Wolf and how much is coaching/system play? And of the part that's coaching, how much can we attribute to Huska?

All I can say at this point is that Huska may have a role in Wolf's unexpected success this season. Other than that, he's coaching a bottom feeder team in a way that does not promote offensive creativity and scoring.
