I have to get blood work done every few months and the lab at Marlborough Mall is the best one near where I live. The mall is not too bad on a weekday afternoon.

About a year ago, I was at the Home Depot across 36th and made the mistake of going to Walmart since I was in the area.

I walked in the door and there was a crowd of people around the entrance, some of them were screaming. A small child (I would say around 10 years old) had grabbed a fire extinguisher and sprayed it around (it was one that sprays water and not foam). The ground was wet and at least one staff member had been sprayed. People were yelling at the kid and he was just laughing. An old man came up behind him, said "That's enough of this bull####," and grabbed the kid. He was a slippery little bastard and got away, but made the mistake of running into the store instead of towards the door, so he was eventually cornered and caught. By the time I left the store a few minutes later, there were already 3 cop cars outside.

That was the last time I went to the Marlborough Walmart.

3am vomited my guts out, then dry heaves every 10-20 minutes for hours. Didn't get back to sleep until 5am. I think it's food poisoning, hooray

You know who ####ing sucks? Parents who don’t watch their little kids do the things they’re signed up for. Man… you don’t get enough cell phone time at home? Their sibling can go 30 mins without an iPad too. It’s good to be bored. It’s even better and more important to be looking at your kid when they look to you for approval as they learn new skills. ####, people suck.

Gotta be 80% I’ve seen out there. And I’m talking about 5 and under kids… although my opinion isn’t going to change at any age. But ####.

Need context? Sportball or something?

Maybe your kids need to learn to take a punch. Haha

Ever seen young folks on a date? Both on their phones the whole time.

Have you spoken with young people lately? Their silence is their most endearing quality.

I barely know how they manage to breathe.

The only reason kids survive is because their parents keep them alive. It does seem to be the dilemma of diminishing returns at the moment.

That’s like my favourite place to punch a toddler.

That was one of my most fun times with my kid.

They would try to drown themselves. I would step in right as it was about to get “unfun”.

Kid has never feared the ocean ever since.

Toddler swim class is the BEST.

I’m not a fan of parents on phones at kid stuff. But what exactly is a parent supposed to do while a toddler is learning to swim? I don’t remember parents even being invited to attend swim lessons - IIRC it’s a drop-off thing.

I just want to sit down with a long time MM staff member and delve into the treasure trove of stories they must have.

Gotta be there cheering and clapping when your toddler puts their face in the water and blows some bubbles.

Marlborough Mall is the best. When Xbox first came out me and my cousin went to the Walmart at like 830am. Was some other guy as well and they didn’t get the version that we wanted but somehow we got talked into buying it. The guy was like #### it we are all buying it and so we did lol.

As we went into the mall Stampeder Joffrey Reynolds was walking around and talking on 2 cell phones.
