I don’t like this roster. Other than Wolf, Bahl and Weegar.

I think most of the forum is laughing at you for thinking we have a good roster, and that this is all on coaching.

Coronato off the top line again. Play him with Lomberg and Rooney is Huska's answer.
Why not play him with Coleman again? One of two guys he's had all his early career success with? Nah.

Nope. Wolf has the team this high in the standings.
A cut out of Huska behind the bench would be as useful.

I do. I love those guys but you have some really skilled players in Huby, Kadri, Sharky, Frost, Farabee, Zary, and some hard nosed goal scorers like Coleman and Pospisil. They might not have that top star player (although Huby could be if they played the right way) but nobody is generating offence in this kind of system. Nathan MacKinnon is an 80 point centre on this team playing this system.

What the heck were Bean and Miromanov doing on that goal? Made Huberdeau look bad but at least he was trying to play defence.

I can certainly get behind Frost with Coronato.
Add Zary when he gets back.

Flames had a breakaway 2 minutes earlier. No goal…weak shot.
Avs steal the puck…short breakaway. Goal.
Offensive part of the game is a very weak part of Flames game.

Chris Simon was a better goal scorer than half our roster

Nah. He has a bottom 10 dcore playing way above water. A cardboard cutout would have them as a bottom ten team though. I thought the Flames had a bottom ten forward roster going into the season though

No he definitely is not because Mackinnon is a player who can single handedly change a game in the blink of an eye.

Why? They all play hard just don't have the talent to score much.

It's 3rd and 4th liners getting the breakaways for us. The Avs have a lot of talented players.

It appears that we've gone from allowing east/west generation to the same ol north/south system thats never worked... this is so sad.
