That woman has got to be ######ed. She assumbed that she could automatically sell all the phones on ebay for above market prices, and putting $15,000 at risk for this venture.

Some guy in Ontario did that with PS3's last Christmas but much to his demise there was plenty of PS3s available in stores when he was trying to sell on ebay and thus lost his shirt. He paid a scalper $1,800 for one of them and thought he was going to sell it for $5,000.

Haha. She's lucky though it was limited to one. I read that you could still buy 'em later in the day without lining up. She would've just ended up with a whole bunch on her hands. She should consider herself lucky to be down only $800.

I remember when PS2 was coming out...some lady said she was just getting diapers for her kid. She ran up and bought a PS2 and ppl who had been waiting in line didn't get one. I yelled at her and told the manager, but she had finished the transaction.

i don't get why people would buy a console when it first comes out. first run models always have the most problems, the game libraries are tiny, and you overpay by a few hundred bucks at least compared to waiting a year. is it simply the "gotta have it first" mentality?

I got the xbox dead or alive and halo when it first came out. Knock on wood, no problems. It blew my friends away when they saw it, was nice to show off. But now I don't play games like I used to so I don't need it first.
