If he’s as reckless with their code as he is with the government’s you’d think they would be awfully easy to hack…

BC Energy minister Adrian Dix told reporters on Thursday morning that he had requested the change after reviewing the province's rebate programs over the weekend.
"I thought they [Tesla products] shouldn't be made available on a public subsidy program right now. I don't think anyone in British Columbia needs to be told why, and I think most people would support their removal from that list," he said.

Does he think about WHY people might look favorably upon his death? No introspective thoughts at all eh?

Lives In Fear Of Labelling
|
I’m honestly shocked by the level of hate and vitriol people on CP spew toward Elon Musk. Disagreeing with someone, criticizing their decisions, or even strongly disliking them is one thing—but celebrating or wishing for someone’s death? That’s a whole different level of messed up and it’s a bit embarrassing for more than a few of you.
It doesn’t matter if you think he’s a genius, a fool, a visionary, or a villain—he’s still a human being. The idea that people feel justified in hoping for someone’s death just because they don’t like his business practices or personality is disturbing. If you find yourself in that mindset, maybe take a step back and ask yourself what that says about you.
You don’t have to like him, but if you’re cheering for his downfall in the most extreme way possible, you’re not standing up for justice—you’re just being a terrible human being. Let’s be better than that.

What an idiotic post. It has nothing to do with his personality or business practices and everything to do with him being a nazi.

As much as I loathe Musk and his role in the Trump-sphere I don't agree with targeting a specific company like this. It's not too different than Trump's petty grudge-based decisions.

Let's also keep in mind this is a person who has insulted Canada several times, including the "51st state" rhetoric. And even within the past two weeks, publicly saying "Canada isn't a real country".
That's basically committing business suicide in a particular country for any CEO, whether they're involved in politics or not. He's totally doing it to himself.

Look, Elon is a horrible person and all, but wishing death upon him just isn't right. I'd much prefer we treat him like the sloth victim in Seven.

But has he tweeted “I’m just a human being” yet? Maybe that’ll be all it takes.

So while you are empathetic towards Musk, he considers you a weakling. This man shredded USAID to pieces, and organization that, amoung other things, feeds the extremely impoverished to prevent them from, you know, dying of starvation. They give drugs to babies to prevent the transmission of HIV from their mothers. 30% of these children will die, the rest will now be stuck with the menace of HIV. They also funded polio and measles vaccines. Thousands(more?)will suffer and die without these vaccines
Quote:

Here's how you KNOW he doesn't possess empathy.
And why did he take such joy in it? They had opened an investigation into Starlink. He's also made it a mission to shut down or defund every agency that is investigating him or his companies, ensuring that the rule of law and order do not apply to them, and ruing the livelihood of tens of thousands in the process.
So I'll perhaps assume you aren't actually aware of all these things, and may consider the moral finger wagging at those wishing someone dead who, by all accounts, is murdering babies and expressing joy at that reality, and the appropriateness of that wag. Cool?
Oh, quick question, would it be OK to wish Hitler dead if he were alive, or is that being a horrible human being too?

Call me crazy but maybe the guy coming to defence of a nazi should be the one “taking a step back” and trying to be “better than that.”
That fact that you think defending a nazi is the righteous thing to do is what’s disturbing. Nazis can FO.

I'm gong to assume from his text that he's just not aware of who Musk is. I've corrected that knowledge gap, so let's give him a chance to change course.

Why?
Our current Tarriffs are designed to be symbolic to create pressure on key political decision makers. We targeted Bourban because it comes from Kentucky which is Mitch McConnells state. Targeting Elon’s power base is reasonable.
We should also ban Twitter prior to the election campaign due to the risk of foreign interference.
It’s only a petty grudge if the intent is revenge. The intent here to make a law maker hurt in his pocket book so they revisit their decisions.
