Had a little bit of an uphill battle getting one of my boys out for bike riding this weekend at Bowness park. One of the things I was trying to tell him, was that part of being Canadian is taking advantage of these nice days that pop up, especially in the tail end of winter. Today, they called me as my wife was driving them to school and he said "Dad, I now understand what you meant when you said to take advantage of nice days when you can!"

Although, I will admit, the wind made riding bikes a bit less awesome.

Really? Spent a good 30 minutes shoveling heavy and wet snow this morning in Tuscany. Definitely more than an inch.

Forecast snow for tomorrow a little all over the place depending on the site. Who you got?

Accuweather has 5-10cm total from Thursday to Friday
Weather Network has 1-3cm Thursday, and ~1cm Friday
Environment Canada only going with 2cm Thursday

Half of these idiots don't turn on their lights at night... Can they give out tickets for that?

It still blows me away that manufacturers don't just have full head and tail light automatically come on when the vehicle is running.

I know there are daytime running lights, but that doesn't illuminate the tail lights.

Honestly DRL's make it worse. Strugglers have headlights at night and assume all their lights are on without realizing they have no tail lights.

Agreed, that's why I think we should just have full on headlights and taillights when the vehicle is running.
