What a #### show. Huska is to blamed for the passive 3rd period, and the choice for the shootout

Wolf is very clearly ROTY, because good lord do they need him to bail them out. Didn't deserve a point after that 3rd and didn't deserve a chance at a 2nd point after that OT.

We're lucky he didn't put out Rooney for that.

Huska's turned us into the Minnesota Wild of old.
It might be how we win games, but it's almost not worth it to watch this awfulness.

The Devils benched him for the playoffs and traded him away. So naturally we lock him up until 2030.

Re Sharangovich, it's clear that Huska figures that if he doesn't play, he shuts himself down confidence wise, and then is even a bigger liability.

From the stats look up, prior to tonight, Sharky is not horrible in the SO, as he was 50%. In fact in the league, with a minimum attempts at 10, he is 24th in the league (Flames highest player). But, he has been shaky offensively, so why put him in for the shooter?

Despite the fact he has been completely mediocre at the professional level, can't do anything with new skilled players he's given, just made a stupid shootout decision, and has only won 30 of 63 games this season with a top 5-8 goalie in the league. You know, if we ignore literally all the evidence, just a great head coach.
There are lots of things to criticize about Huska. But any criticism is met with the laziest response of "the team sucks" and zero effort to engage any specific complaints about him.

7/39 lifetime and 3 for his last 23.
He’s very poor at shootouts.

WTF does Zary, probably our forward with the most natural talent, have to do to get a chance at the shootout??

You have zero interest in a legitimate discussion about it. You've been against him since day 1 and no interest in changing your views. So as much as you criticize others for lazy responses, your criticisms of him are grounded in you strange bias towards him.
It seems like you would rather the Flames fail so you can be proven right about him.
The reality is when this team is ready to contend he likely won't be the coach anyways because of the natural cycles of change for the position. In the meantime, the team is better than almost everyone expected. If people want to put all of that on Wolf that's fine, but ultimately Huska is the coach of a team over-achieving.
But you have no interest in engaging in a real discussion. And that's been made very clear.
And to be clear - I think he's an average coach, who seems to excel specifically with working with dmen. For right now - that's fine. Including because I don't know what better coach would want to come here. This isn't a particularly compelling situation for a coach.

Maybe he shouldn't take two stupid penalties. He didn't play much after the second one, and has only 2 points in last 10 or so.

Frost's was good. They all look bad when they miss but Lakinen made a good save to get across and moreso for him to move his body and stick to block the puck where Frost was going with it.
Rasmus too many dekes when he got close in.

I don't have a strong opinion about Huska but complaining that he's only won 30 of 63 games with Wolf in net, as if the standings are a huge disappointment, is hilarious.
