I don't understand the point of being able to waive off icing. That was a clear pass attempt where the puck jumped over the Flames player stick at mid ice and that icing. Icing exists so you don't just purposely dump the puck down the ice. That's when icing should be waived off, clearly a pass where a bouncing puck evaded the players stick.

Agreed 100%. I thought they even changed the rule years back to reflect plays like that? Maybe I heard wrong.

Panel is out to lunch...hit Hughes every single chance you get. They also don't seem to get that the Flames were chirping him about dive.

They announced that they were changing the standard, but the linespeople just kept calling it pretty much the same as they always had.

Last 3 Flames to score a PPG and SHG same game. For back to back the answer is Mark Jankowski.
Yegor Sharangovich - Jan. 11, 2024 in a 6-2 win against Arizona.
Mark Jankowski - Apr. 7, 2019 in a 7-1 win against Vegas. This was a back-to-back.
Mikael Backlund - Apr. 16, 2016 in a 7-3 win against Vancouver.
Now 2 of the last 4 times this has happened it's been against Vancouver.

Anyways Bahl is basically the definition of unsung hero for this team this season.
