82. Day 138 is the last day of games. Trade deadline should be just before then

We will likely have a slightly extended trade deadline. I have a trip next week from Monday-Friday. If I sim every day including Monday, or through day 137 on the schedule. That leaves day 138 remaining.

So the deadline would extend until Friday 11:59 PM. I would update the sim Saturday, and then sim day 138 next Sunday.

My trip next week will be too hard for me to bring the extra laptop with me. But having a longer deadline ain't a terrible thing to allow for some final moves.

Do things like waivers, or buyouts to make room, or such things, also extend to the deadline. Or is that a separate process that runs to the offseason?

Will be an interesting final few games for the Eastern Conference. With 4 games remaining, I'm assuming Buffalo gets at least 1 point and clinches a berth.

Carolina sits 7th with 93 points
Philly is 8th with 90 points
Florida is 9th with 90 points.
Islanders are 10th with 89 points

Islanders have 3 games left while the rest above have 2 each.

Carolinas last 2 games sees them facing the Rangers and Penguins.

Not sure I fully understand but once your season is complete (meaning you have played your last game) any buyouts have to wait until the rollover
If you want to execute a buyout this season, before your season is complete, you have to have the room.
