Re: Paradise, the season finale is next week on Disney+. If you don't have D+, it will be airing on ABC starting in April.
It has been renewed for a second season.

The new White Lotus season is fantastic, and has easily the best location and visuals yet.
Unlike S2 which had some drab sub plots, nearly all the arcs in this one are consistently entertaining. It's a fun ensemble.

The first episode S3 easily the least interesting of any episode of the series so far. Haven't watched E2 yet

Prime Target: Three episodes in, and I'm quite into it. The season finale is next week, so I'm trying to pace myself to avoid a week-long episode gap that I'll fill with evening time doomscrolling. I'm too math dumb to know whether the premise is complete horse#### or not. Apple.

I disagree. There were a lot of worse episodes in season 2. Especially when it followed the kid, his dad and perverted grandpa.
I enjoyed them setting the chessboard in ep 1.
The fun starts in ep 2.

A Thousand Blows is pretty good:
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-r...inders-creator
Quote:
The Peaky Blinders creator, Steven Knight, has set his latest endeavour in the East End of London and the shadowy underworld of late‑Victorian bare-knuckle fighting. The new series is called A Thousand Blows, and this is an understatement. Some will stay away because of the boxing. This would be a mistake, because it is about so much more. It is about all kinds of violence – that perpetrated against children by those supposed to protect them, against the increasingly poor by the increasingly rich, against women by men, against the colonised by colonisers – and what happens when you throw people together in the melting pot of a rapidly industrialising city where only the fittest can survive.

The Paradise season finale is out. I thought it was a good end to the season and also set things up well for next season.
If you don't have Disney+, it will be broadcast by ABC starting in April, but I assume it will need to be heavily edited for language, a little nudity (although they may let bare butt go), and for run time since some episodes were pushing an hour without commercial breaks.

We just burned through Running Point the past few nights, on Netflix. Light, funny, and sometimes predictable, but still enjoyable.

Reflecting back on it it's ok. My gripes would be that the cast is comprised of total unknowns and none of them are particularly strong actors while the story is relatively boring, poorly paced, and character motivations and actions are those of a low budget show. I've forgotten most everything about it other than there's boxing. They sold the "Peaky Blinders guy made it!" angle too hard. The main actress is no Tommy Shelby that's for sure and the dialogue didn't do the cast any favours.
Maybe some of the cast are familiar to British TV fans? I'm sure I'll give it a watch when the next 6 episodes come out but this doesn't seem like a series that's headed for a long life.

It is built on this supposed great boxer revered around England after a few fights that he didn't even look that great in- The premise just wasn't for me.
I liked the guy from Warrior though, Jason Tobin

Have been speed running Halo this last week; really enjoying it and have become a huge fan! Some fun sci-fi, and an interesting universe/backstory to explore (never grew up playing the game as a teen, was never an X-Box guy). Almost done the second season now. Sucks it wasn't picked up for a third season, maybe now that it's on Netflix it'll see renewed interest from other studios.

I've got 2 episodes left of 'A Gentleman in Moscow' and it has been absolutely terrific!
