Meanwhile we can get murdered when down a goal without a call.

The Flames have scored more goals than the Canucks in 2025

Flames are now in the driver's seat for 8th as the Canucks and Blues have fewer points with more games played.

Which means they'll probably lay down for them over the next 2-3 games.

I mean I hope not but it's the Flames.

I have the Flames pacing to finish with 91 points. Vancouver at 89, St.L at 88 and Utah at 87.

I also have the Kings finishing ahead of the Oilers.

Hope my projections hold.

Panthers losing some games also helps the pick, pretty shocked they blew that one it looked to be in the bag

The Kings are really good on home ice and were awesome on the PK, wow. They beat the Islanders 4-1 and were 8/8 on the PK! The Islanders sucked on their PP, 0/8. The Islanders only had one penalty called on them. The Kings are now 1 point back of the Wild and Oilers in the western conf.

I was at that Kings - Islanders game. Islanders also had 2 goals called back for goalie interference after coaches challenge. Reffing was a bit questionable - missed the interference on ice on both goals and then the apps were lopsided.

Kings are interesting - they are quick, physical, and move the puck really well. But lack that single offensive superstar which has been their weakness come playoff time. I've liked their game when I've seen them live this year though.

Also that Islanders team is old with very little to be excited about.
