Huh, looks like Pierre's marketing team was involved with this.

I am sure Tesla will bring out a roll coal attachment for a hefty price that will be a must buy for the group.

But not from Pierre Deplorable. He still hasn't denounced Musk's endorsement for him.
He did say he wanted to kill his son. He wants him to goto Mars in one of Elon's spacecars.

More like scenario is Tesla starts making an ICE truck. Obviously it'll be the cheapest POS truck you've ever seen, but the cult still don't like electric vehicles, but gotta take advantage of them somehow, so this threads the needle.

Kind of surprised this hasn't happened already. I mean other companies are becoming better at EVs but that doesn't warrant the huge swing in sales away from Tesla and towards everyone else.
Maybe it's just a really really high bar to clear in court?

One problem might be that the stock hasn't really dropped below pre-election levels yet. His government involvement has been basically a wash for the stock price so far. If it continues to decline, then there would be a lot more damages to sue for.

At some point tesla wont be able to sell the regulatory credits they do. Whether its the other car companies not needing them (as their own EV sales/production increase) or trump removes the emission requirements that makes them necessary.
Its like 40% of their 'profits'

In true Tesla fashion, the more likely scenario is that you will now be able to pre buy it for $5k, and you'll get it as soon as it's available. They'll make it a top priority as soon as FSD and robo-taxis are all sorted out.

Perhaps it achieved full autonomy and didn't want to be associated with Musk?

Haha. Trump buying a Tesla is the opposite of what you want if you are worried about brand image. Elon is probably praying Trump doesn't actually do that.
I wonder if insuring a Tesla is going to become an economic burden for people who own them if cases of vandalism go up.

Lol! Could you imagine if (when) Trump makes a Cybertruck the official Presidential vehicle?
