It's interesting to see how much bloat existed within the PMO under Justin Trudeau. At one point he had 5 staffers running the PMO for him. For comparison, Harper only had two at any given time and most PMO's only had one person with the only second person for short periods of time.

Why? The guy that was advising him is taking his place.

The only time the country was ever united under Trudeau was when the polls showed that nearly all Canadians wanted him out. Hopefully Carney won't be nearly as divisive as that ultimately leads to what's going on south of the border.
This sounds like what someone with an anti-Liberal agenda would say.

Justin's public statements over the past 2 months have been excellent, far better than anything we've heard from him before that. If he really didn't care about Canada and had 2 feet out the door, we would have seen lackadaisical, nonchalant showings from him, but that's not what we've seen.

Yes his time as PM was marred with mistakes and scandals. But you making it seem like "OMG Canada is practically in shambles" is just you trying to carry water for the Conservatives. Canada is still in good shape despite facing some big challenges.

The division in the US is not the result of "Biden being divisive" or whatever. It's the result of the right wing disinformation machine spreading lies and confusion online since the dawn of the internet. It's also a result of their terrible education system.

It’d probably help the effort to sound less silly if you knew when he was an adviser and what he was advising on.

The worst outcome would be another LIB minority supported by the NDP. This country can’t afford any result where Singh is afforded continued relevance.
You ranked those three in reverse order.

I would suggest reaching out to the CPC and advising them that maybe they should listen to the people who tell them they need to moderate their stance on certain policies in areas that will bring in more voters without the risk of alienating their current supporters.

What exactly is the definition of politicians being "divisive" these days?

I'm completely lost cause I thought if anything, the party and party leader that sides with Freedum truckers would be one being "divisive".

And stay away for m Trumpian slogans like "Canada First" and disparaging DEI programs without providing evidence that they've done any harm.

I wish we had leaders with the balls to declare Trump a Russian asset and disqualify him from entering the country. It'll never happen but I'm desperate to see some actual consequences for his actions.

I don’t disagree with this. In the simplest of terms I’m ok with a party that is progressive on social issues and centre right on fiscal policy.

I think most people would be on board?

Welp, there goes part of Carney's credibility right away. A guy who got kicked out of cabinet due to multiple controversies and stated he wouldn't be running again is now Chief of Staff. Why Mendicino of all people?

Liberals gotta Liberals I guess

I think Carney needs to get the election done right away before the honeymoon is over, where Poilievre's Trudeau 2.0 comments may actually end up sticking if left around too long.
lol.

Off to a great start I see.

But for Canadians that care and pay attention, they do go look at what he is.

Amazing the state we're in, where we're being told nobody gives a #### about the important people that actually run our country.

Have you heard about the Liberals under Mark Carney? Cause that seems to be where they're aiming the ship.

people that support the important people that actually run our country. Sure, the Chief of Staff is an important person but they're not on the ballot and nobody is choosing whether to vote for somebody based on who their Chief of Staff is.

Has PP ever stood up for Canada once?

Just like Trump is ready to hand over Ukraine to Putin, PP will be ready to hand over Canada to Trump.
