YOUR SUPER BOWL CHAMPION, Philadelphia Eagles, have re-signed Zach Baun to a 3-year deal.

Yeah I can see Metcalf and for that matter Lockett going to the Raiders to rejoin PC.
Lockett seemingly a really good guy and a top receiver for a few years, and still serviceable.
Metcalf is a physical beast in size and speed and all the physical tools to be the best receiver in the game, but hasn't lived up to that. He could be the star of the team, but consistency, winning battles to get open, the need to get a bit dirtier and into traffic areas; I don't think he thrives well when the coverage gets physical and it throws him off more than it should and teams figured that out.
McDonald has said he wants to be more physical on offense (ie more running), and ditched the pass happy OC after one season, so thats where some of this comes from.

Do not want. Lockett as a free agent may be okay but I want no part of trading any picks for Metcalf.

I'm terrified the Raiders are going to overpay for this guy. Raiders need to steer away from volatile players and his stats have been trending down.

You'll love Metcalf and his bad penalties and petulant behaviour on the sideline.
All it will cost is a 1st and a 3rd.

Do we think the NHL is not largely an American organization just because they have Canadian teams? Or will you only be watching Jets home games going forward?

Marios site
Trump will cave long before the NFL season...if he lasts that long anyway. He already is after crashing the market for his billionaire buddies.

To be fair it is pretty self serving. Not watching the NFL will either hurt Canadian companies (the TV networks who have already paid for rights), or a British company (DAZN), but will have zero effect on the NFL or US America. It's pretty much symbolic and nothing more. And I'm definitely not gonna just watch CFL as some sort of "filling the gap". Choosing to watch an inferior product as some sort of "I'll show you!" is certainly a choice.

The NFL is a 100% American-owned league run by American owners exclusively playing in the United States. The Canadian Football League is their competitor if you want to say they compete. It's a completely Canadian-owned product with Canadian quotas for players. If you can't be bothered to chip in in the most small way because it interferes with your personal hobby, just say so and be honest about it. Don't embarrass yourself with this bull crap about it being self-serving or horse #### about Canadian broadcasters(lol).
Who's being self-serving here? Hypocritices

The point is not watching changes nothing, except maybe it reduces future rights fees the NFL receives. But I'm guessing the current agreement doesn't end anytime soon, so unless you're advocating for a permanent boycott of watching the NFL, stopping to watch for a few weeks or even one season is highly unlikely to make a real difference. It's purely symbolic. There are more direct ways to hurt American companies (I just cancelled two trips planned there which actually directly affects American businesses). Not watching NFL now only hurts the Canadian rights holders who won't be able to charge as much on commercials. The NFL has the cash from the agreements contractually locked in.
And considering the CFL a competitor is like saying the AHL is a competitor to the NHL. It's a secondary league that every single CFL player would abandon to go play in the NFL tomorrow. Including every Canadian player. Imagine thinking some Canadian player, who would earn more at the NFL league minimum than the CFL max salary, is gonna turn that down to say "#### Trump". Dare to dream, I guess.

Okay, so stop watching the NHL and watch the QMJHL, OHL, etc., instead if you're so committed to your cause.
You're not being clever here. Everyone can see this for what it is; a self-serving, transparent attempt to get people to watch the CFL. Ain't happening, dude. I'd rather just not watch football than watch the trash that is the CFL.

Isn't he a huge Man City fan too? Apparently human rights abuses are all good to support though.

Pretty much. I can get behind the argument of not buying NFL merchandise, tickets and traveling for games. The

Yeah, that was an objectively hilarious statement to make. How often are CFL games even broadcast H2H against the NFL?
The CFL is about as much a competitor to the NFL as I am to Usain Bolt.

Not to derail this thing anymore, but more sports should have have a handicap system like golf. Wouldn't it be fun to see if you could beat Usain with a 50 meter head start?
