Don't see Andersson really commanding much more, if at all.
Andersson will command a lot more. You should run the career stat comparison. One is just getting started as a 29 year old, the other is a top 2 dman having a bit of an off year.

Yeah, I’ll take a CP donation bet that Andersson gets more in a trade even if they hold onto until next offseason

Assuming the Flames retain salary.

Nah. Even at full cap Andersson is worth more. Wahlman just broke out offensively on a terrible team after getting fed a lot of minutes. The Sharks have more goals than the Flames as well.

Latest intel.

Flames aren’t “seriously” considering trading Andersson from his teams perspective after “things changed today, but maybe they’re going to dance with another team - We took a serious swing”. This is from my source in with an eastern conference team.

He adds that “PosP was being heavily scouted over the last two weeks and to watch something there, his team thinks Calgary is playing him to far down the line up”

Mentioned Calgary continues to explore options for the Top 6 C and Top 4LHD. Believes 2025 Picks are in play but not interested in moving 2026.

For him the most active teams are Anaheim, Seattle and Utah.

Thinks Buffalo is gun shy to move another player that could flourish elsewhere (Cozen).

His team had Vladar value at 4th Round Pick or 5th and 6th.

Connecting with additional at 10PM EST.

I read it more as they thought they were close and the ask was too high

Please don't trade Pospisil. Unless the return is big.

What? I've never heard of CP attempting to contact sources, that's crazy. As far as I know they just used to require a pm explaining how you have inside info. Not "oh you know an agent? Okay give me their number and I'll call them to verify and then you can post" lol.

Flames will be adding, I'm told they're close with a team out east.
They do have a few pokers in the fire, expect any sort of depth trade to be a later pick.

Not a big update, but thats the latest from me.

Agree PosP is playing too far down the line, last year top 6 with Zary Kadri he dominated. He's a big boy and fast. I would be hesitant to trade this guy because of a sophomore year.
