I had no issue with it until it became a distraction from work expecting some shoe to drop on a transaction. Only to not even be explained let alone lead to anything.

So after days of being spurned in the last week or two I'm just mildly annoyed by them now. If he's posting them for no actual reason then that's just mean.

It's OK though I'll ignore them and wait for Royle's reliable breakdowns, or a trade announcement.

Unless I’m misremembering, the mods used to ask people who claimed to have inside info to privately disclose who their sources were. So at one point Bingo thought it was important. Then, for whatever reason, his stance changed.

Imagine how that goes. Let's say I disclose who I am hearing stuff from and then Bingo contacts those sources and says he is verifying a guy who is listing what you share on a message board. I am sure everybody's sources would be thrilled with that! Just ignore what we post if you like.

As far as I know, he hasn't decided he wouldn't sign. Just that he hasn't decided at all yet. For what they gave up, unless they get a really good long-term option back, you have to keep him. And even then, you got him for a run, I still think you have to keep him.

Yeah that's going to be tough and I honestly don't get why teams restrict themselves like that .

Take whatever package has the best overall value - don't restrict yourself with "I need x piece and y piece"

Get the best total value, and then if you want you can move some of the return for a piece that fits what you want.

Trying to match the pieces you have to sell with the team that has the pieces you want makes it tough. Get the best value and when you have rich assets then go shopping.

Car dealerships have been the talk of this thread so we will use that analogy. You rarely get full value on a trade in - go sell your cars privately and then use that money to buy the car you want.
