You said the same thing about Necas in the summer though. Underlying stats will always be bad if a player isn't playing well. Change of scenery could change that.

You also said Wright wasn't worth more than Klapka and a 3rd.

We can all play that game.

Necas had better underlying stats that showed he can drive play. Cozens career is a player that is a passenger.

The Flames need play drivers in the middle, not another Lindholm.

Andersson won't excel in Dallas and isn't that good to return Bichsel

$100 mil cap world, $7 mil is 2nd line money. He doesn't need to be MacKinnon, just replace Kadri.

I know it’s a short sample size but when the Flames played Buffalo earlier this year I specifically watched Cozens most of the game since he’s been so hyped.

I gotta say the idea of a player like Rantanen coming here is pretty tantalizing. I don't care if they throw huge money at him.

Its the age that confuses me. He's only 1 year younger than Huberdeau was when we backed the truck up for him.

Realistically, how many years do you have left of those guys, Huberdeau, Rantanen, Kadri? If thats the plan. 4? 5? at the most. Are you going to shore up the defense in the mean time? Is Parekh going to be ready to be elite? Is Zary and Coronato going to be ready?

At this point in my fandom, I'm just along for the ride. I'm not losing sleep over what they should or shouldn't be doing. I just want fireworks, give me excitment, one way or another.

Sure, It's also been stated he didn't expect to be traded and would of walked down his demand.

Colorado was sending a message to the entire organization and their reps. If you want to play here, we have a plan and your welcome to be apart of it but on our terms.
