I remember thinking that the throne room fight sucked, suffering from "too much". Which seems to be the main problem from that video, too. It's an 8 v 2. There's too many bad guys to fight effectively. That fight needed to be, at most, 4 vs 2. Or maybe 3 v 2. Probably would have given the fight choreographer much more to work with.
I always thought that the sequels could have gone another way.

Spoiler!
There would be no Snoke at all. There would be no first order, at the start of the story there would be various Imperial remnants that hated each other as much as the New Republic.
While Luke Skywalker had ended the Empire. The New Republic had fallen into the same type of malaise as the old republic. Run by corrupt bureaucrats that didn't do anything to prevent corruption or end slavery of the outer ring. The various Imperial Renmants were fighting each other for the leadership of what was left of the Empire.
Leia and Han had gotten married, and Leia scarred by her father had decided not to train as a Jedi Knight, she had gone to work in government but quit in disgust.
Luke had founded a Jedi Knight Academy, but he had never been trained to train Jedi. Han and Leia had sent their son to him, but the boy had too much of his grandfathers anger and greed and entitlement and had gone to the Dark Side and taken over one of the Imperial remnant fractures. Luke had gone to find him and lost to young Ben in trying to redeem him and vanished.
End of the first movie.
The second movie starts 5 years later. A mysterious Sith Lord had emerged and defeated Ben Solo and offered him the role of his apprentice. This new Sith Lord known as Darth Umbra, through force had reunited the Imperial Remnant and war erupts between the Resurgent Empire and the New Republic. Most of the outer ring worlds rallied around the Empire who promised a peaceful, orderly and fair society, something that the New Republic couldn't. Han and Leia decided that they had to find Luke Skywalker. during their quest they found a young slaver girl who was incredibly powerful in the Force. Meanwhile Darth Umbra had dispatched Ben Solo now his apprentice as a Sith Lord to track down and take out the threat of Han and Leia. The young slave girl named Rey begins to see Han and Leia as her parent and Leia tries to teach her to control the Force. They start solving the mystery of Luke's dissapearance and find that he has visited worlds powerful in Dark Side Lore. Korriban, Drummond Kas, Dagohbah, and Yavin.
Ben Solo tracks down his parents who try to reason with him, but he believes that they are a threat to the New Empire that will bring Peace and Justice in the Galaxy. They meet up on Korriban, and Ben kills Han and is about to kill his mother, when Rey picks up a light sabre and defeats Ben, critically wounding him. Leia nurses her son back to health and breaks the Sith Lords hold on him. They find a final clue in the sub surface of the Jedi Temple on corscant in a vault find with forbidden Sith artifacts and teachings. They head out to find Luke but run into a massive Imperial Fleet led by a Supremacy class dreadnought and are captured and Ben, Rey and Leia are taken to an audience with the New Empire Darth Umbra.
they walk into the throne room and are greeted by a familiar face as Darth Umbra is Luke Skywalker.
End of part two
At the start of the third movie, Luke Skywalker explains that as much as he believed in the Light Side, it was clearly weaker then the Dark Side and only his desire during his quest to gain greater power he learned the truth. The democracy of the Republic would always be corrupted and people would always suffer. That the Weak served the Strong in exchange for Peace and Security, and only he could bring power to the galaxy. Leia tries to reason with Luke, but he sadly states that he had to burn the past down and hits Leia with a blast of force lightning. Ben attacks Luke to save his mother and during the fight Leia and Rey escape, Ben passes into the Force.
The Empire continues to conquer the galaxy, Leia and Rey are on the run hiding from Imperial Forces they enlist the aid of Chewbacca. Our hero's end up on the world of Tython the homeworld of the Jedi. Rey discovers the Jedi Archive and Leia helps her train. Meanwhile the New Empire takes over the last of the galaxy and Luke begins to brutally reform the galaxy in the name of peace and justice.
Eventually, Leia forms a rebellion, and they form a ragtag fleet to attack the main Imperial fleet around Coruscant. Rey is encouraged by the force ghost of Obi Wan Kenobi that she is the last hope and needs to confront Luke. While the battle rages between the fleet Rey confronts Darth Umbra. A brutal duel begins between Luke and Rey, Leia tries to help but is captured and she begs Luke to remember who he was. Luke critically injures Rey, but he can't seem to strike her down as that spark of goodness prevents him. and he uses his tremendous force energy to heal Rey, but makes the ultimate sacrifice, his last order is for the Imperial fleet to stand down. With Darth Umbra now one with the Force, the Empire has lost another Emperor and they retreat. Leia makes an impassioned speech to the Galaxy promising peace. Rey commits to return to Tython and to learn all she can about the light side and teaching Jedi before trying to bring back the Jedi Knights.
Or something like that.
