Depends entirely on what mood I am in and what song/genre is playing on the radio. Willie Nelson has probably saved a few cyclists lives!

Judgment time. Yesterday I was right about here, driving(not cyclist related!). It was perhaps a little further back, but a vehicle in front and to the left of me signalled and turned sharply to the right. I assumed he screwed up and was trying to get to the alley, so I had a little patience to let him through and eased off the gas, but I was also trying to get to the green light(I had plenty of time). But instead of pulling into the alley he straightens out and proceeds to stop directly in front of me. He had decided to park there(about where the blue vehicle is). Now, I get that that is a legal parking spot he could park in. But my gears were severely ground to have my open travel lane turn into a parking spot with no warning. This was a dick move, right? Or are my gears unnecessarily ground?

Probably wasn't trying to be a dick on purpose. It's like the old saying:

Bad drivers will never miss their exit.

Hot dogs come in packs of 10, and buns in packs of 12. I have to buy 6 packs of hot dogs and 5 packs of buns to equalize!

He did this because he thought that you were going to take the parking spot.

Uggh, I hate that spot soooooo much. That lane runs unobstructed for 8 blocks and then wham! parking, right before the intersection.
The extra fun of that turn lane is half the time the person in the middle turn lane makes no effort to keep in their lane.

Ya, I prefer the right lane because of that. Can't trust anyone else. I think my biggest issue in life is that other people exist.

Yeah that gear grinder is legit, that has to be the strangest park plus zone downtown I can think of. Yemeni Village is delicious and worth it to park there and piss off everyone in that lane.

It sounds more like he cut you off abruptly rather than make a normal lane change for the purpose of parking.
Gear grinder is totally valid, and that parking area is also a huge peeve of mine, since I have to go straight at that intersection to get to my dry cleaner, so I am often getting stuck at that intersection. People also don't know how to negotiate turns at a normal rate of speed through there for some reason, and that light seems poorly timed with NB 8 Street at 5 Ave SW.
I have started using my horn more, I'm tired of people frantically cutting in front, thinking "My signal is on so that means I get to do exactly what I want at this precise moment"; no, it signals intent and it means you get to f-cking wait until it is safe / clear to execute the manoeuvre, not lane change into other traffic while going 15 KM/H slower than everyone else. I don't care if you have to make the next right turn, the beauty of roads is that they connect to each other so you can turn next time and take a slightly different path.

Didn't Yemeni Village close quite a while ago for being a dirty #### hole and also buying un-inspected meat?

I'm not gonna lie but the tastiest restaurants often have substandard controls and I believe that is what makes them great. A few of my favorite places rights now and dirty hole in the wall joints and I'm not going on the AHS website to find out what violations they might have. I'll gladly bury my head in the sand and eat delicious food. My favorite samosa place was shut down years ago and damn those were good but the health report was startling.

Ugh. Preach. I've been dealing with that for a while.
Unfortunately for me, its been compounded by a pretty bad fall the other day. I slipped on some ice and hurt myself pretty badly
I cant take pain-killers. At all. Not even Tylenol or Advil. So not only the insomnia, but I can't sleep because I'm in pain.
Its good times. Lots of fun.

From when you smoked your head on the parking bollard?
You do know Tylenol and Advil are taken orally right?
