Nah not even close. Bjorkstrand is legit, VERY reminiscent of the Coleman addition IMO. He also has another year after this one.

Yeah but two first round picks? He may be reminiscent of Coleman but that's hoping a lot for lighting to strike twice. They are the Lighting I guess.

Bjorkstrand (assuming 50% retention) at under 3M for another year is surely worth a 1st +
Gourde is certainly worth a 2nd+ as a rental

With how well the Lightning have reloaded in swapping out a declining Stamkos for Guentzel, I think this is very much worth the price. They're my favourites in the East rn.

Yeah but Gourde is a toss in so it's essentially two 1st round picks for Bjorkstrand. I think the value is extremely poor but they get a guy they really wanted.

When you have Kucherov, Point, Guentzel, Hagel, Cirelli, Hedman, Vasilevskiy -- you kind of have to go for it every single year.

With the cap going up- they could potentially retain Gourde and Bjorkstrand.

Damn- looks like that's going to be a good team.
