Its a loaded question with a response based on opinion. it would be similar to me asking you what good have the Liberals done in the last decade.

He's losing ground because he has no substance. If PP had legitimate policy ideas, plans for governing, and outlook for the country, then this wouldn't have impacted him as much. But all he has are slogans, anger, and a base who share similiar views to the MAGA crowd south of the border. And now, many Canadians are starting to see what you get when you hitch your wagon to that base, ideology, and governance (or lack there of).

Yeah, but he is either unable or unwilling to pivot. No cares about the carbon tax today. He trots out the same few messages as before and wants to pretend that the Liberals are the real problem here and things would be fine if only they were not in power. Good luck with that.

Perhaps take the time to reflect on why the party and its leader who you support is afraid to take a strong swing against Trump. Pierre is letting the Liberals back in the race because he is either afraid of upsetting the far right part of his base or he is still politically aligned with Trump on non-tariff policies.

I like the plan of putting an export tax on electricity. But I think Ford needs to tone it down a bit with his threats to cut off power completely. If Ontario ends up doing that, you’re gonna see U.S. tanks rolling across our border the next morning.

Cutting off electricity could affect the health and safety of citizens and could be construed as an act of war if someone was so inclined. I hope we don’t FAFO on this one.

You're right. Let's inflate the price 1,000% first.

Daycare policy helping out young families.
Greener homes grant leading to an incredible solar installation and efficiency improvement uptake with an individual's capital vs. taxpayer dollars.
Lower income taxes.
Building TMX.

Been economically great if you've been following the incentives. If you're not or ideologically opposed for your own personal reasons, then nothing the Liberals would've done would've been enough anyways.

You know what I find stupid? The fact that keeping our resources can be viewed as an act of war. Everyone is talking about how Canada failed to plan, and build pipelines etc. this is no different for the US, they have failed to plan and build their own infrastructure. So if anyone is FAFO it's them.

She's already got enough scrutiny on her, that had she not aligned with the Feds and other provinces, she'd be in even more hot water. But glad to see she aligns.

Will see what they come up with tomorrow.

But some of those replies. Yikes. Separatists, anti-Canadian, pro-51st state nonsense. I know, I know... don't read the comments. But holy smokes is that a good reminder why I don't go on that platform anymore, but also a reminder of what makes up her base.

It not only politically expedient, doing otherwise would be suicide.

The unavoidable reality is that there is a tightrope to walk on the energy exports that doesn't apply to other products. Ford was asked about what he'd say to Moe and Smith about AB and SK exports being US-reliant and their potential hesitancy to take steps that would increase the economic impact to their constituents like adding export taxes on uranium, potash and energy products, and he completely ignored the AB side of it and talked at length about how Moe should sell those products to other buyers elsewhere in the world, and how everyone wants his uranium. Obviously a lot harder to do that with oil when you don't have the infrastructure.

If they come out of their meeting this afternoon with a plan that involves fast track approval for pipelines "east, west and north", as Ford suggested in his speech today, that would probably help.
