Oilers acquire Frederic (75% ret) & Jones for STL 25 2nd, 26 4th, Wanner, LaChance

Like the deal. Frederic is one of the players that I wanted to acquire. Helps a lot in the bottom 6. Need to get another forward (like Tuch) to play in the top 6 and need to improve the defense (someone like Carlo, Savard, etc). Want Gibson as well but don't see them making that move.
Like the double retention as well.

Great trade for the Oilers, have to admit it. Frederic is a great bottom 6 guy who moves the needle for everyone around him. The picks going the other way are not egregious, and the Oilers get an okay depth forward in Jones along with a depth prospect.

What am I missing here? Fredric is a 27 year old that has 15 points in 57 games this year and a -14? He's a carbon copy of half the bottom 6 of the Oil roster this year
