I don’t think so. Their goal appears to be to try and hurt us economically to the point where it possibly gets so bad that we’ll eventually come begging them to let us join them. Trump even said this not long after he was sworn back in when he told a reporter that he would use economic force to punish us. And now they’re proceeding with exactly what they said they would do, which is why we need to start diversifying our economy ASAP and wean ourselves off the U.S. as quickly as possible. We need to keep talking to our other allies around the world and work to strengthen those relationships immediately because we’re gonna need them. If he truly is pulling the USA out of NATO then Putin will just steamroll over Ukraine. There would be zero fear of American repercussions.

I don't think it's far off to assume that they would even go so far as to start funding the Russian war machine. Either openly or covertly.

Hell, they lean heavily on Starlink. Musk has certainly shown his colors. If hasn't already, he would almost certainly start leaking intel that flows through Starlink. Or just black it out completely.

I must have read two dozen times posters telling people to chill out because the fate of the world was not at stake and that hyperbole would help no one.
