Oh if they found a deal to send pops somewhere, I'd be happy.

I think Pospisil is an effective player. He just gets played way too high up the lineup typically. He should never step on the ice in a 1st or 2nd line role.

Depends on the line. If the Flames had a Gretzky and a Kurri, Pospisil would be perfect for the Esa Tikkanen role. For obvious reasons, they don't have the luxury of setting their lines up that way.

I was shooting the breeze yesterday about Flames trade rumors and I know everyone was jumping up and down about getting Cristall from WSH Andersson. I did some sleuthing and came to the conclusion the Flames would have a better chance at acquiring Ryan Leonard than they would getting Cristall. That being said I think the Flames would probably land in the Miroshnichenko tier of prospect acquisition from the caps along with some salary coming back.

I think Kadri needs to go, circle back to the Leafs or Avs and get the best deal you can and hope he waives. Continuously hurts the team with undisciplined BS. Whining and crying to ref while the Canes skate down the ice and score.

Get up, shut your mouth and get to the bench so you can get a player on the ice to get back.

That's the trouble. It appears neither the Leafs nor the Avs are interested in him at all.

I think they would give up Cristall long before the gave up Leonard. Leonard is one of the best prospects in the league. He affects the game on so many fronts, and is currently the top goal-scorer in the NCAA, despite missing time at the WJC.

My point was, neither are realistic.

Keeps what up? Scoring the team's only goal in a three-game stretch?

What are the odds Winnipeg goes all in this year? Would a Perfetti for Andersson be possible (as principle pieces)?

I don’t think there is a chance that Jets move Perfetti

Interesting thought. I was thinking maybe Keiron Walton plus from the peg

Touche.

I meant the attitude, which is getting old.

Kadri only seems to put effort in about half the time, while whining all the time, which i have no time for. That opinion of course is subjective, but I doubt goes unnoticed by management.

Point taken.

Kadri seems like a mercurial guy. Has a tough time staying in that sweet spot where he's clearly trying hard, but not making an ass of himself. With the results he gets, you pretty much have to accept the times when he veers out of the zone one way or the other.

Colby Barlow is a name I've heard WPG would move for a good piece to help this year.
