What I was told is things are on spin cycle, lots of dialogue between conroy and this GM.

They want a prospect the flames are not willing to move currently.

Buffalo has Calgary’s offer for Cozens. It’s fair and does involve roster players and picks.

Backlund hasn’t been approached to waive but Conroy has engaged the camp of all players with trade protection.

Rasmus Andersson has been asked if there is any changes to his 6 team NTC.

Flames have engaged every team on Blake Coleman’s 10 Team
pre approved trade list.

Kadri Camp and Flames have dialogue. I’m told it’s Toronto or Colarado no thanks at this moment.

Flames deep in negotiations with Zary, Wolf and Bahl.

Part of the Florida's argument on the Tkachuk trade was that they wanted to play a more 'playoff-type' of system. Darryl Sutter brought that up a bunch of times. Huberdeau had a big adjustment to make, and credit it to him - he is playing a MUCH more complete game, even if the offence has come down a lot. This team just needs better players, period.

You think this team has as bad an offence on paper as SJ? Because they are tied in GF. The team should be middle of the pack with the depth they have for GF, instead they are right near the bottom of the league. People will make any excuse for this coach, it's comical.

We’ve seen this dance with players and conroy before. Unless the demand $$$ is lowered by Rasmus. I put it at 75% chance he’s gone before the start of next season.

Sounds about right to me. Both teams have about the same amount of talent offensively
