It was in response to someone saying that trump had more than 50% of the people vote for him. Saying that only 30% voted for Harris in response doesn't really make sense. You could also say that only 31% voted for Trump.

I don't have any way of predicting the future, so any absolute suggestions of what will happen are only guesses at best, but what would be a more ridiculous suggestion? The idea that there won't be elections, or that there won't be a backlash from voters? America has a lot of problems right now, but one thing I'm very, very certain about is that nobody in the population would accept not being able to cast a vote.

Oh I'm pretty sure there will still be mid-term elections, but the votes themselves won't really matter. Project 2025 is in full swing, and one of their top goals is to replace election officials at all levels with MAGA loyalists. Once that's done US elections will be about as meaningful as Russian ones. I'm just wondering what kind of popular support % they'll throw out to "prove" how popular Trump is vs going too far into tinpot dictatorship

Can't the FBI, CIA or any other number of other agencies designate trump a clear and present threat to American national security, which he clearly is, and "take him out"?

Seems like the best possible scenario at this point, to me.

They might have to designate a few others to make it work, but the writing is on the wall.

The problem is Trump and Musk have purged those agencies of anyone who would put country over party and they're now led (and mostly staffed) entirely by Trump loyalists.

Everyone knows what happened here. Trump can only exist around people he can causally humiliate. Guys like JD and Rubio. He wanted to do a ritual humiliation of Zelensky and Ukraine but Zelensky wouldn’t accept that and so Trump reacted like a stung b****.

This is my fear and belief as well. Every aspect of MAGA has been infiltrated into all levels of government. The amount of propaganda this movement has caused will be extremely difficult to eliminate. It literally has become a cult of stupidity and misinformation.

I think someone needs to ask his orangeness how he thinks handing Ukraine to Putin helps him get any of the “trillions” of resources that are in Ukraine. Putin isn’t handing it to him. Trump is threatening our sovereignty. He just stabbed our ally Ukraine in the back AND tried to humiliate their leader to appease an enemy. Not to mention his systematic dismantling of democratic norms and processes in his home country, a country that was once our great ally.
