I don’t think there is any doubt. Putin and Musk bought a U.S. president.

Let's not virtue signal and degrade discussion about the American people not voting for a 'black woman' when the real issue at hand is having to work around the maniac in the white house now and that swath of destruction he's leaving in his wake.
Today's disaster is maybe the most disgusting display yet and that really is saying something at this point.

Standing down on OFFENSIVE digital actions (i.e. cyber attacks by America on others ) against another country is a good thing IMO, but they shouldn't be standing down on defensive activities like monitoring and security, etc. It's hard for Americans to be upset when other nations launch cyber attacks on them if they're doing the same thing to others. Problem with this is they need to get other countries, Russia in this case, to also stand down on their offensive digital actions on the US.

The wording is weird on this one, I read it as standing down on even planning offensive digital actions. Which is dumb. What's next, tell them to scrub and get rid of all war plans for Russia?

Absolutely you would cheer for a neocon against Vance in a hypothetical 2028 primary, but who. Anyone left? Or has that party been usurped?

I think we just witnessed history.
Trump just declared that the US is against Ukraine and it's allies - meaning it is in league with Russia.
Imagine a Washington-Moscow Axis. Reagan must be rolling in his grave.

Safe to say that the G7 meeting in June is gonna be an absolute s*** show if Trump actually shows up. If he tries to pull the same childish reprehensible crap that he did with Zelensky today, I hope every other leader there tells him to shove it up his stupid fat arse.

An MP from Ontario has an official petition going to ban Trump from our country. I signed it.

Every piece of news (confirmed, threatened or speculated) out of the US right now feels like it is meant to desensitize the reader to bat #### insanity. I’m noticing myself becoming distant and less interested in this entire world of politics, a depression fed by overload.
I knew it was going to be an insane 4 years, I didn’t think they could cram 4 years of insanity into the first month.

Honestly would love people to come together (Canadians, Americans against Trump, internationals) to purchase billboard space all over Calgary and towards Kananaskis, and make ads just denigrating the absolute #### out of Trump during the G7.

Maybe just a new rule, if youre a felon, to get in the country you gotta take a punch in the face. If you flinch on that first one, you get two more.

That's definitely not true. You're confusing electoral college results with the actual popular vote count.
Trump had 77,284,118 votes, or 49.8 percent of the votes.
Harris had 74,999,166 votes or 48.3 percent of the votes.
It's a difference of a little over 2 million votes in a country of 340 million, which is less than 1% of the total population (not total voting population, but still).
The idea that this man has an overwhelming majority of the population on his side or some sort of mandate from the people is bull####. He's losing support quickly and is probably only going to have total Republican control of the branches for 2 years until midterms. People are already pretty pissed with the results of his work. It's gonna be a bloodbath.

Zelensky interview on Fox News right now

Absolutely devasting stuff today and it absolutely sucks for Zelensky to be in this situation. He's still trying to keep diplomatic ties with such an insane asylum with clear lips on Putin's #### because he has to.

Obligatory lol at thinking there will be midterms, or that they will be fair. Kind of impressive to keep that kind of hope when everything else suggests otherwise.
