I like the read up on this prospect so much already that I'm just going to go ahead and order my Jordan #23 Flames jersey.
Crazy how far down a defenseman who can skate like that falls. To me, skating and size are everything for a defenseman. All his other skills and hockey IQ must be terrible.

I really get excited by these types of profiles: high upside kids playing behind more established vets. Also the 6 ‘2 209 is very enticing when it’s coupled with his skating assets. He seems to understand how to move the forecheck to his will which to me suggests high iq and willingness to be creative. This could spell a big uptick next year.
Wow I really like this draft. Up until meow. Would have like the big nasty pwf type like a nadeau but there is a lot of upside so far on the fwd and def ranks.

He has had a health issue - an enlarged heart or also called an "Athletes Heart". He never played for numerous months and and wasn't sure if he would ever play again. Maybe another CP'er knows more.

Before the enlarged heart thing that had no ties to the Flames as he was already cut lose, his 20 year old season was derailed when he blew a knee and missed a full season.
