His numbers blow Andersson out of the water sheltered or not.

I am ready to move on from Andersson, he really hasn't made any progress on either end of the ice this season.
He regularly gets his head caved in and is generated almost no offence.
I really hope he is leveraged as a trade asset because his rep is much better than his results.

Colorado plays a very open speed game weaving through the neutral zone, and you can see why with Mackinnon or Makar skating pucks right into the zone make it easy for everyone including Rantanen, he isn't going to go fetch pucks being dumped in. Carolina is a lot more structured and plays a very Sutter style shot volume game.
The Flames dump pucks in, and they also play a very safe style in every zone to keep games low event.
That is why the idea of Conroy going after Rantanen is crazy and paying him 14M plus. Huska isn't going to overhaul his system to suit 1 player.

I think with Rantanen it is just adjusting to a different playstyle the Canes play. Even looking at his stats he seems more unlucky then anything. He leads the team in lots of offensive metrics. He will be fine.
I think it will be interesting tho so see if he stays with the Canes
