So is wealth simple the preferred software now for free tax return filing? I need to get mine in this week and get my $20k back.

Because the cap gains legislation is in "limbo", so gotta file those by stork.

You got lucky. I once had a CRA employee breathing down my back because I didn't depreciate a $30 mouse. My accountant had to explain that that's not a depreciable asset.
Also I still get payroll slips in the mail, despite the fact that I pay payroll online. Thanks for the waste of paper CRA.

It works really well in my experience. Never an issue even with more complex filings.

I looked into it because that is horrifying. It sounds like they switched back to the 1/2 inclusion rate so recently they aren’t ready yet but plan to be within a couple of weeks.
Since I also wont be ready to file for some time that's ok with me.

I paid for tax software but then I got the vendor to refund my money since they cannot seem to obtain certification. I tried using the free wealthsimple software and it won't allow me to input my RRSP contributions. The "find forms" section is grayed out. Do I need to upgrade to make an RRSP deduction?

Lol!
"I called CRA twice in my and that went swell!"
Yeah. Try doing it for a living. That experience isn't anecdotal at all.

Oh shut up, nerd. No one said it wasn't anecdotal.

No, lol based on you it seems miserable. Tax season never ends apparently and the busiest day of the year still gives one enough time to post endlessly.

These are the same people who call the Victoria Day long weekend “May Long”. Sorry, May Long is the name of a transvestite Thai hooker.

A shocking lack of recycling and insane level of garbage waste for us as a society RGMG. I had to go up to the city NW dump to drop off construction debris. They sent me to the section where the big bins are emptied and the large bulldozer like machine compacts things before being covered in dirt.
Just shocking with how much could have been diverted, recycled or reused but then again a lot of people say certain low value things just don't have an afterlife.
I can't imagine how bad other countries are when Calgary was a disaster and you see it up close.

Everyone calls it May long. Just because it sounds like the name of sex worker you presumably got too attached to on vacation doesn’t mean anyone else is going to make that connection.

You got your panties in a twist because I said I had some positive experiences with CRA agents. When my posts per day reach an average of fourteen I'll stop yapping.

Outside of Aluminum, other metals and card board recycling is really marginal.
Removing organics is a big win that should be focused on along with waste reduction in general
