Or "younger people" means under 6 years-old and they only like it because the Cybertruck looks exactly like a 4 year-old's drawing of a truck.

I said exactly this the other day.

Child's rendition of a vehicle (boxy, sharp corners, cartoonish, no curves) = cybertruck IRL.

Just got word from a buddy of mine in Nova Scotia - the package I sent him last week has arrived and he's very happy with it. That's gladdening me up, and I'm also happy that it arrived in one piece:

Spoiler!

Cold and Snow in February feels right. Glad we're getting some season appropriate weather and some moisture.

Every second Wednesday after they come and pick up my black bin!

During the holidays they moved the day up to Monday because of the 25th. My Xmas was ruined.

It’s easy to feel jaded but there’s still lots of good people out there.

####ing right there are.

Sadly, they and their actions don't get celebrated enough.

Someone I know has an interview with WestJet today. She's applying to fly their Dash 8 regional planes. She spent the last 8 months flying King Air Medivac flights out of Winnipeg to the northern regions of the province to get her required flying hours.

wrmmh... i was able to get tickets to the brier (curling) and i'll be taking my mom for a day next week.
do i like curling... not really, but my mom absolutely LOVES it.
maybe 10 years ago or so there was a big curling thing in penticton and we got my folks a tournament pass and they had a blast going to every game.
i would have done that again for the brier, but my dad passed away 7 years ago so my mom doesn't really have anyone to go with.... and she turns 81 in a couple weeks, so i wouldn't want her going there by herself (i know she wouldn't feel comfortable doing that).
so yea... today i called her with the news and she is sooooooo excited!! my mom's going to have a blast - and that really makes me happy!

The school had the parking authority at drop off this morning. The guy literally couldn't write tickets fast enough - people parking in the handicap drop zone, blocking driveways, parking in the bus zone.

Very satisfying to watch people realize they were getting a ticket and try to drive away quickly, knowing they were already busted.

I gym I go to in the NW has 3 handicapped parking stalls, of which 2 of them have a hatched out area in between so the handicapped can fully open their vehicle doors and/or use it for wheelchair access. I *often* see non-handicapped people parked in the hatched area which reduces the adjacent handicapped stall widths to regular car widths. I wish there were warnings/tickets for the miscreants.

I’m reading Valentines cards sent to the Legion by kids for the veterans. So sweet, I’m crying.
