This isn't a moral superiority thing. I understand everyone has their own priorities and I'm not judging, and I'm more just putting this out there as food for thought.
I saw Trips showed at Linda's confirmation hearing. I don't think it's outrageous to suggest that the brass at WWE/TKO are at the bare minimum complicit in their silence with the current administration, and at best, quite chummy and supportive of them.
Combine that with the tariffs and their continued business with the Saudis, and I just can't in good conscience give them anymore dollars or eyeballs at this point.
That goes for Netflix, too. I'm going to be canceling basically all of my American streaming subscriptions once I can afford a bigger hard drive that's more adept for hoisting the Jolly Roger.
Yeah that's fair. I definitely see where you're coming from. The WWE/TKO have always been aligned with Republican sentiments. Let's not forget Logan Paul, Undertaker, Kane, etc all endorsing Trump and strongly pushing his politics. Trump literally being in the Hall of Fame isn't a great look either, but at least they don't seem to advertise that.
My only question is how far do you go? There are so many corporations cozying up to MAGA right now. It's a scary sight, but if we're looking at sports alone there's UFC, PGA, Nascar, even the NFL that are all showing their colours. Seeing Tiger Woods at The White House this morning made me throw up in my mouth, then we can't forget Gretzky as well...
It really stinks how Trump and his MAGA fools are infecting so many things we enjoy. I do believe many align out of fear, as they don't want to become enemies of his evil regime. Although in this case pro wrestlers have almost always aligned with right wing politics. I would hope that's different with this new generation, and at least there's always Bautista! Someone who wasn't afraid of making his views known.
The Bucks and the Khans both made major donations to Republican party through all three of Trump's elections that he participated in. Jericho is... Jericho.
People with money do not have our best interest in the hearts.

This article says Shad Khan donated in 2016, but doesn't implicate TK at all. Do you have another source for that?
I don't really care much about the performers' political views. Most of them are dumb as bricks and have taken way too many shots to the dome to be taken seriously.
So the Rock is going to show up tonight... Rumors are swirling that he's going to throw his name into the Cody Rhodes championship conversation. I can't see how they can book that... Maybe another swerve where Rock puts him in the match. Then Punk wins the Chamber and beats Rock on Night One of Mania to get the Main Event spot... fantasy booking, and maybe I'm way off base as how can they get The Rock on that show?
Edit: bah nevermind it sounds like he's actually there to name New Orleans as the next host of WrestleMania. That's pretty lame.... If that that's the case they should gave Jacob Fatu go out and beat him down for "warning up" to Cody.

The Rock is secretly playing the role of Shang Tsung. Who knew! Strange storytelling, and the Rock likes to ramble... Yet intriguing to say the least. I can't tell what direction they're going in.... Unless it leads to a Cody heel turn?
What the heck is going on with Thunder Rosa? With Penelope and Megan Bayne "going into business themselves" and no selling Rosa with a chair. This isn't the first time Rosa has been a parish in that locker room. Is she the new backstage villain now that Britt Baker is no locker there.
Both have been vilified, matter of fact I don't think Baker and Rosa liked each other. Yet it really appears Tony doesn't have control over his own locker room (lack of production meetings may explain that). I know both Rosa and Baker were fans of Punk, and took advice from him. Part of me wonders if that's a major issue. Look at the talent that have either left or will likely leave AEW, so many were being mentored by Punk. Starks, Page, Rosa, Baker, and I think Pillman as well all spoke highly of Punk. I wonder if there's a negative vibe towards anyone that sought Punk's leadership? Maybe I'm reaching, but I'm certain Rosa will end up in WWE one day.
Also what happened to Kamille? I feel bad for her... For whatever reason she chose AEW over WWE, and I'm sure TK gave her a few hundred thousand reasons why... Yet she disappeared off television, and there are no signs of her returning. What a poor career choice she made. Compare that to Stephanie Vaquer who obviously made the right choice in snubbing Khan after Forbidden Door. She's been a star in NXT, and will be a future champion in WWE.
With all that being said WWE I'd having trouble selling out WrestleMania, which is probably why they brought in the Rock. They need to create hotter storylines going into Mania. Uso and Gunther just doesn't feel fresh... I love Owens and Zayn, yet we've seen that before. They need to find ways to perfect the rest of the card at Elimination Chamber. With proper booking of the rest of the card the show will sell out, but it's hard to guess what direction they're going to go in.

They are having trouble selling out WM because the cheapest tickets were $1000USD for 2 nights.
I would have went but after going to 39 and 40 I couldn't justify spending $1000 for upper level tickets and any of the "Good" seats were closer to $3000 I think.
They are banking a bit now on the Rock helping them sell out the rest, but they've sold 40k+ seats at an absolute premium already.
