This 4-nation face off is a one time thing. They are now planning doing the World Cup every 4 years. So if it happens, we get premium international hockey every 2 years -> Olympics & WC.

Awesome game. Shades of 2010 Gold Medal game, although with much lower stakes (though the Trump stink on this elevated everything).
A few Quick Things (which have probably been beaten to death here already)
1. McDavid looked awful up to the OT. Fighting the puck all night.
2. Jack Hughes was pretty invisible.
3. Jack Eichel was fantastic for US
4. US Goalies are just unreal. I think I would have played Oettinger.
5. Doughty was getting hit every time he touched the puck. I secretly loved that.
6. Slavin was unreal. Guy gets zero respect, and I don't think much will change. Could most casual fans even tell you what team he plays for?
7. Sean McDonough at one point during the end of the 3rd period actually said, "People paid $2300 a ticket and they are absolutely getting their money's worth!". What a stupid statement. Trump's America Baby!
8. Loved seeing Bennett out there. Miss that guy. He looked great.
9. I'd take Brady over Matthew at this point.
10. Loved the "Johnny Hockey" chant. Hot crowd all around.
11. F those MAGA guys sitting behind US bench.

I haven't seen a lot of people asking how the F McDavid was so wide open in the slot. I was very surprised by that. Not sure what happened on the American coverage.
