Once again Canada has introduced them to the curb as we have and always will do. This has always been political and if you find yourself on the wrong side of it well...
You not like us.

I can't help but notice how Trump is living rent free in so many people's heads here. I guess there's a reason why he made so much money in real estate. So many easily triggered and unhinged posters. It's a hockey forum and a "game". It's hardly the second coming of the summit series in the midst of a cold war.
The vile hatred for players on team USA and even Gretzky now is disturbing. Try reading up on the definition of fascist and you might not want to use the term so loosely to label others.
Get lost loser, Gretzky is a traitor to Canada plus he is an ex Oiler.
And yes, your orange president is a fascist dictator. Look up both definitions in the dictionary. The truth shall set you free.

It was the fastest and highest skilled hockey ever played...more physical that any recent international tournament too. Also it was the first one in 9 years thus was more meaningful since the Americans thought they had passed Canada. Nope

Finally something from McDavid I can get behind.
Everyone and Sportsnet is salivating and is calling this his crowning international moment.
But when asked how he feels to score in OT like this, as Crosby did in 2010, he said "Crosby did it in the Olympics, and this is just me doing it in a little tournament, we have to do it again next year when it matters".
Rogers and Sportsnet will have to have a talk with him about his messaging and branding.
Rogers from the Sportsnrt Central to the panel to Cuthbert and Simpson, has continually awkwardly forced the comparison to the Olympics (using "best on best") to overhype this thing for months leading up and now as much as possible the last 8 days. It simply doesn't compare no matter how much they want to wrap the flag around everyone.
It's not the Olympics, but considering the political climate and the fact that the championship game was against the country threatening to annex you and the game being in that country, I am not so sure it wasn't just as important.
