What I thought was going to be a fluff tournament ended up being quite entertaining. Great work, NHL!
Hopefully they do this every 4 years.. and dare I say it but maybe they add Russia and World Team in 4 years.

They were probably gassed, it was after an icing. This is why Cooper put McDavid out there, he is good against slow and/or tired players.

Yeah Fox running around covering no one and Matthews following him.
Onto the games that matter though. Was this a pleasant distraction? Sure if you ignore Sportsnet trying to ram this down our throats as anything near an actual international tournament that defines Canadian hockey history in any sense.
It's an NHL NHLPA hockey related Revenue tournament, that Sportsnet and ESPN needed to have a Canada US final to make any money from.
