The concept is exceptionally easy to understand. Regardless of whether people choose to ignore the Constitution or not. It still exists and still defines who makes the laws and it's not the Executive. Immunity to law and creating law are not the same thing. How is this even a discussion?

Refusing to follow it doesn't mean it's still not the answer to the question. That is literally some Flat Earther logic.

Youre being needlessly pedantic. It may be because the situation is distressing, which I agree.

But, consider that the constitution is largely just a written out form of the social contract. Ultimately it requires that people believe in it, defend it, and act accordingly to it. It would seem from the outside that all of those conditions have been violated, so who cares what's written on the paper?
