Have you met him?

Well yeah if you ask the mattress salesman to take it for a test drive they’re gonna want a deposit, or at least a protective sheet.

Sometimes those young dudes in their snazzy suits and pointy shoes don't get guys like us. I dress super plain, too. Denver Hayes blank shirts and/or hoodies and/or flannel shirts are my go-to. I shop exclusively at Mark's. They can mistake it for being a slob or something, but the more seasoned guys seem to get that it can often be the sharp dressers that have the worst credit and no money to put down.
The Subaru will treat you well, so likely a good purchase. I hate talking cars with Subaru guys because they love their cars so much and think no other AWD system comes close to it. I like talking cars with people who like things about all the brands, but many Subaru guys sound like cult members. If you just have a car to get you around competently and aren't slapping your Subaru dick in everyone's face then it's all good.

Lol! I know exactly how much money you make and I still treat you like crap!
I kid! I kid!
But its something I learned a long time ago...the people that 'dress to impress' are the ones you should trust the least. Theres usually not much substance behind the attire.
"The lady doth protest too much methinks."
A guy like fotze? I could see him being under-respected, but should someone make that assumption based exclusively on his looks? Then that person should be under-respected.
The point is...looks can be deceiving.

If you have a big bank draft cheque can you just use the photo app to deposit or is there an amount that they block it or something?

When you go into that part of the app, it shows your daily deposit limit. I would also want to be sure it works for a bank draft.
For that amount, and the issues you have had, I would say you should go into a branch.

Any remember old cell phones, around maybe 2002/2003.
I recall when you could predict a call coming into your phone when the radio in your car would make a series of audible beeps before your phone would actually ring. Like maybe a few seconds or so?
I’m assuming this was before cells went digital.
Anybody recall this?

Likely depends on your bank. I've e-deposited a cheque from the sale of a rental property via e-deposit. Apparently with simplii as long as its less than a million it'll deposit it in the app.
Personally, I would trust a banking app not to screw that up way more than I'd trust a teller.

Yah I had an LG phone and I recall you could hear it coming in on speakers. Not just calls but texts too I think.

I used to be on my nokia 6160 2-3 hours a night with my wife before we got married. I used to hear my phone ring before it rang. I'm pretty sure my brain is radioactive after using those 1st gen phones.

Just watched a Veritasium episode on cell phones and planes and they talked about this! The thought was if it could impact an am radio it may fata up the planes radios. The reason for the airplane mode is the FCC, not the FAA, thought the cell phones in a plane would overwhelm the tower infrastructures so banned them on planes. Spoiler, they do not overwhelm the towers but they kept the ban in place.
