And a year ago they probably would have had Demko as their number 2 before he got hurt and his play fell off.

Gibson is having a bit of a bounce back year too. Daccord is putting up a .915. And it's only 18 starts but Stolarz leads the NHL in save percentage actually.

Goaltending appears to be a strength of the American development system for sure.

Daccord is technically Canadian, is he not? I remember the conversation of him playing for Canada at Four Nations.

Eligible for Dual citizenship because his dad was born in Canada but I believe he would have needed to get a Canadian passport to play and hadn't yet.

So more American than Canadian I think.

Thompson leads the NHL in goals saved above expected per game... I think if he was here, this tournament would sort of be Canada and everybody else...

Blackwood and Kuemper having good years too... Canada has good tenders, but due to unfortunate circumstances they don't have their best at this tournament...
