I dunno, he's been fine for me. But one of the main benefits to MacKinnon is that lots of guys can play well with him. You want a combination of physicality, willingness to go to the front of the net and opportunistic shooting talent, and they have a number of guys who fit that bill. I think Bennett would work well, Hagel, Konecny. All good complements to 29.
They have far fewer guys who can effectively play with 97 IMO.

I feel bad for Finland in this one. Finland can definitely hang with the other three in this tournament but missing Heiskanen hurts big time. They're not deep enough that they can get away with their best defenceman being out.

Losing Heiskanen, Ristolainen, and Hakanpaa is tough for a nation that only has 11 defenseman who have played NHL games this season.
Including probably their 1 and 2.

Toronto has crazy winds with snow squall situations at the moment. Some of the highest snow I’ve seen in the past 20 years. Crazy that a plane landed upside down.
