He's either doing solo missions or deferring completely to Crosby. Like your turn / my turn. This is why he should have wingers he can just use as weapons rather than BEING a winger. All these guys are used to running the show when they're out there.

Not much of a body of work to evaluate from.
MacKinnon had an off game on saturday, but he was excellent against Sweden. He wasn't even on Kadri's level against the americans.

Let's see who shows up this time.

If anything, the series totally transcended politics. In fact, Canadian fans weren't booing other countries anthems, they were booing their own players.

Yes... but CFO and CalgaryFan1988 were talking about MacKinnon being disappointing through these 2 games so far. 0 assists.

Obviously everybody knows he's elite. He and McDavid have both looked like they're doing solo rushes with blinders on.

Probably want to be the hero who wins it all. I can see it from McDavid since he’s never won anything.

The offense struggled through the first two games, as they tried to get lines together that are clicking.

But to say his vision to use his linemates is non-existent, is ridiculous. Maybe give the defense some credit. Or, just use your head.

Do you not think Canadian fans wouldn't have booed Trudeau on Saturday night if they put him on the jumbotron!

I would have cheered him loudly for standing up for our country against a bully who has been attacking our country daily.

			So much for that narrative.
Nate with a great showing against Finland.

Wouldn't surprise me if the flu was making the rounds over the weekend based on their performance Saturday.

A number of players don't look like themselves.

My brain hurts trying to decipher this double negative.

But in any case, I was talking about 72 which was ultimately about hockey. Would love to focus on that here too.

Don’t think MacKinnon is really an assist kind of guy though.

Seems like more of a feed him the puck and let him drive the net with his speed to score kind of player.

If you want an assist from him follow him in to try and grab the rebound if there is one.

I’ll leave that stupid woke comment alone.
But you clearly haven’t watched MacKinnon play if that’s how you think he gets his assists and laughable take. Hes on pace for 95 assists and had 89 last year and I can guarantee to you it’s not from being a puck hog and people tapping in his rebounds.
