Should Canada be banned for the stuff that happened in multiple World Junior teams? We are far from perfect on our own right... The American team has nothing to do with Trump and his politics. Hockey Canada covered up many scandals over the years. If we're comparing the two our actual program has been involved in worse situations.

The U.S. is approaching the point where it should be banned. The country is leading us into war. If Russia, why not the U.S.? It’ll never happen but a guy can dream.

I really think it's time to have the discussion about banning the United States from future events. The only countries who would not boo the US anthem at this point are Russia and Israel.

I'm guessing you never watched Miracle?... They won in 1980. I believe that was their last Gold Medal.

I mean in real life the American president is threatening to make Canada the 51st state. You probably don’t have to see MAGA lovers everyday either

I always had love for the US, I have American family members and work in the US. But when you start talking about taking away Canadas sovereignty that is when things get personal and it is hard to separate that from sports.

I get the wish to separate life from sports, sometimes its nice to talk trades, not trade wars. However it's kind of tough to push this when the teams themselves are reacting viscerally on the ice and in post game scrums.

I didn’t say Canada’s been invaded and don’t believe it’ll happen. He’s threatened us and has declared economic war on us and numerous other countries as well as other threats against some. Those plus Trump supporting Putin and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. I’ve seen enough but it will get worse. These things are more important than sports.

The boos were not even that bad, imagine if it was the other way around and Canada was threatening to take over the US. You wouldn’t even be able to hear the anthem in that scenario.

Spewing political vigilantism because Canada lost a competitive game of sport is sore loser talk. Team Canada needs to find some chemistry to finish their opportunities, get a goaltending performance that is better than their opposition, and reevaluate whether experience should be prioritized over pace. Last nights game could have gone our way with a few bounces so there’s no need to get overly emotional and make dramatic changes. I personally would keep Harley in over Doughty (if it’s within the rules), hope Makar is good to go, put Konecny in over Reinhart, and start Hill. But I’m just a fan and will support the coaches decisions.
