I watched the replay on Sportsnet. Kobayashi spewed right at the end. And let's not forget that Kobayashi was playing through an injury.

I like it when people risk their internal organs and long-term health for my entertainment.

Damn really? I think the Sclars are great. They got that funky twin vulcan mind meld going on.
Their tone is much different from Rome though so the show is dramatically different when they host. For some reason I get a real kick out of them though.

Meh to me they are like 2 teenage kids telling inside jokes between each other just kind of irratating…I am younger so a lot of references they make are to people I have never herd of so there humor is kind of wasted on me
Believe it or not I actually really enjoy Skip Bayless, I know a lot of people hate him but he is enterataing IMO

Let alone the people who line-up to get a meal at NYC soup kitchens, and so on.
I understand why Nathan's would put this competition on - advertising and it won't cost them very much.
But the fact that there is a whole competitive eating circuit just seems wrong.
However I can't justify why it is any worse than any other professional athlete earning huge wages.

An eating injury?
Haha, what injury is that? Upset stomach? Hung over?

There was a report a couple of weeks ago that he may miss the competition because of arthritis in the jaw. He was having trouble opening his mouth beyond a finger width. Not sure if ti was really arthritis or a strained jaw or what. Just something I read in Weird news on canoe or something.

^^ The "injury" was a wisdom tooth removal IIRC.
The Sklar brothers are awesome! I sometimes like them better than the regularly scheduled programming!
