Just watched the karoline leavitt video where she was chastizing the press for not using the Gulf of America. I don’t think she is going to last very long. I have a feeling the US press isn’t going to be bought as easily as the Canadian press was.
I wouldn’t doubt it. It would be interesting to see what the US population response would be to that.
It depends on which ones you talk to. I'm sure the hardcore MAGA cult are probably eating this crap up and likely couldn't even point out Canada on a map, let alone give a s*** about the relationship between the two countries. But there are millions of sane intelligent citizens in that country who feel very differently.
I work in tourism and I've chatted with quite a few American travellers over the last couple of weeks about some of this stuff, particularly the tariff situation. And the general consensus seems to be that they're just as annoyed by this stupid bulls*** as we are, and they've expressed a lot of love and respect for Canada and its people. Maybe they're all just blowing sunshine up my butt because they're visitors here and they don't want to feel the wrath from angry Canadians. But I really don't think so. The folks I've talked to seem genuinely concerned about what's happening.

That’s why I think this isn’t going to last much longer. He’s just creating uncertainty for everyone at this point. Humans generally don’t like uncertainty. Regardless of political affiliation.
How are voting Americans going to respond to anything? They are continuously being sprayed with so much noise and distraction and hand waving I'm almost certain the plans to have the masses completely desensitized and apathetic.
I imagine that regular random terrorist attacks from former Canadians pissed at having their country stolen from them would help them focus their attention for a bit.
Seriously, you're going to give 40 million people who look and sound exactly like you and hate you with a passion access to your country and its 300 million or so guns? What do you think is going to happen here?

If they invade with their military we’re not going to be peers.
Russia and China have been indoctrinating their population for decades if not for centuries. Yes, there are these hard core Trumpers, but I don't think the majority of Americans want to see their military killing Canadians. But I could be wrong.

The Trump administration is expected to purchase $400 million worth of armored Tesla vehicles, according to a new State Department document detailing procurement for fiscal year 2025.
After#reports#circulated Wednesday night of the State Department's intent to purchase Tesla vehicles, the document was edited, at 9:12 p.m., and now says the federal contract is for $400 million worth of "armored electric vehicles," but the word "Tesla" was removed.

Every other tinpot dictator now will attempt land grabs. Even in Europe, Orban has long been talking about how land was stolen from Hungary and he wants it back. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-52903721
Trump is destroying the world order that his country set up in 1945.
This is what I find so utterly disheartening about what is being done to the USSA. An example of the impact to dismantling USAID without any understanding of what's at stake.
