Having driven in Vancouver, I’ll trust the janky computer.
The computer also won't jump out and blame the other vehicle when #### happens. Plus the people in that car might immediately jump out and say, "It wasn't me, it was the car driving itself"
Given what Musk has done in the last month a Tesla sell off is inevitable. All over the world Tesla sales tanked. No "in touch" person wants to buy anything associated with Musk at this point. I do fully understand the market is irrational but at some point sales matter and Tesla needs to dissociate from the Nazi.
I think there is going to be a critical mass selling point where it just drops like a knife. \\ And really soon.
Full Self Driving using Tesla's approach will NEVER work.
Yep. They are actually further away after removing the ultrasonic sensors. I still can’t believe a class action lawsuit hasn’t been filed on behalf of the suckers that have paid ten’s of thousands of dollars on a system that will never fully work as advertised.

TBH, with how bad some drivers are/drunk drivers, I assumed that sooner or later, FSD with all its problems is still better than those morons.
Now... I don't know. But Tesla's self driving hopefully shouldn't be the only semi passable option in the nearer future.

The dream of FSD is great. But if it can’t actually replicate what having a personal driver would do, I am not interested. Fly-by-wire controls so you could have a trusted person control the car while you’re sleeping or working or sobering up should have been the minimally viable on the road towards FSD.

Has anyone ditched their Tesla in recent times because of the Elron Factor?
No, I can't. I bought a Tesla because I got a dream job, just unfortunate that I live in Chilliwack and and the job is in Delta so have to commute. When I bought in early 2022 other EV's were hard to get and I couldn't wait. Like 2 years at the time for a Kona EV
I'm not rich. The Tesla was my first brand new car. I charge for free at work and when it's paid off in a couple of months I will be laughing. I'm totally not really comfortable driving a Elon machine but if I was driving a ICE car my costs would be much greater.
