I think Canada has just gotten lazy and frankly pathetic when it comes to anything really security related. We let the US spend the big dollars on security for the borders and we take a low key approach. We seem to have a lot of tips coming in from their intelligence agencies to Canadian's in Canada and have allowed our military obligations go to hell

The term is M.A.P (minor attracted person) and is very frequently used in my wifes profession within alberta health. This is not a new term. There was pressure a few years ago to add them to the LGTBQ community but it was strongly rebuffed by the vast majority of the community

I don't know if you followed the first conversation. Fuzz was recognizing how our justice system is doing a great job. So I brought up the fact that the same justice system puts child rapists on house arrest. A topic that I am very passionate about obviously, I think these people should be put to sleep.

Clearly the passion, while perhaps moral/principled in nature, has made you vulnerable to believing some screwy #### too. Don't let it override the need for further investigation and source checking before taking it as gospel, like with anything else.

If you really want to be well-informed, know your blind spots.

Asking someone with first-hand, inside knowledge literally was as simple as posing a question here. Instead you took Bobby Joe down the street's word for it instead of doing your own homework. And the consequence of that was making bum of yourself stating such a thing in a place where people were much more informed on the matter than you.
