As consumers, we have the opportunity to do that ourselves.

If the US were to annex Canada we wouldn’t have any rights.
Watch for MAGA propaganda vilifying Canada and Canadians to amp up to get an indication of where this is going.

Maybe just get off social media or the new info-tainment train for a bit.
You guys can't seriously be freaking out that the US is going to annex Canada.
Edit: and also, you wouldn't fight to keep your home? Seems wild anyone would just turn tail and run in the case of some far fetched scenario that it happened. I would rather fight for my freedom than end up in a refugee camp somewhere.

Nobody is freaking out. I’m planning on sticking around for the long haul.
I fail to see any downside to having an out in a worst-case-scenario situation, however.

Super easy. Just an online application. Pretty much the same as ours.
PS. I was born in the UK. So obviously that makes things easier.

Yeah, the Ukrainians renting the house across the street totally turned tail. They should’ve just fought for their freedom.

I was born in Britain so I suppose I could move back but Europe is a mess and this annex stuff will blow over. I guess it's human to panic but man some of you need to chill out a bit.

People need to chill out because barely anyone is talking about fleeing the country because of a fear of annexation.

Have you not faced adversity in your life before? I can't believe people would be seriously consider packing it in and bailing out of their country because of Trump's hot air bargaining.

It's not hot air bargaining. How many people have to tell you this before you believe it?
He's serious. Whether enough people will go along with him or not is what is in question.
Personally, my kids and wife have swiss citizenship and we launched the process to secure their swiss passports in december.

Two are getting the passports they’re entitled to, which everyone should have, one on the off chance they ever need it, the other for unrelated reasons.
Seems weird to question whether someone has faced adversity when that’s your version of “panic.”

Are you talking about the population in general or here on CP? One person here basically said they wanted a second citizenship so they could hoof it out of North America if things went bad.
