Imagine being a highly intelligent scientist who worked in federal research facilities for decades, then having a bunch of DOGE zoomers hired by Elon Musk come in to evaluate your worth and contributions to society.

I guess they are also built in Kentucky. I would assume that most of them sold in Canada are from Ontario but funny things can happen when it comes to distribution of supply.
it likely depends on which model you are buying.
my wife "just" got a rav4 hybrid (i say "just" becuz we waited almost 1 year for it. had to put down a $2000 deposit then wait and wait and wait some more)
i believe the delay was becuz her model is built in japan and the bulk of that model go to the usa (mostly california) - where there is a lot higher demand. the sales guy (who was awesome) was telling us that there is a dealership in california that sells more cars per month than all of bc!
