A reminder, if you have Telus TV, you will be able to watch the Seattle broadcast on channel 135 (KING - Seattle NBC), if you want to get away from MacLean turning every topic into an Oiler lovefest.

I like Coronato on a scoring line, though I would have preferred it to be with Frost. I think being on Backlund's wing was really good for his development, but I do think that the Flames can better use his offensive skill-set on a scoring line. Hopefully he does well!
Hunt is fine in the lineup. I would have preferred Klapka on the the 4th and Pospisil being a checker on the 3rd instead, but that 4th line needs a boost. Wouldn't surprise me to see Huska switch Pospisil and Hunt during the game, or even Pospisil and Rooney for a look or two.
Huge game. Although there is a lot of games left, this feels to me like a 'make it or break it' point in the season. Seattle is a winnable game tonight, especially at home. The 4 Nations break starts for the Flames after tonight's game, and it will be a lot better staying close to the playoff picture with that tough road trip coming up when the NHL resumes. Lose tonight, and it almost feels like the floor gets yanked from underneath them in terms of playoff chances. 2 points away from Vancouver who are getting healthy and have an easier schedule, and the death-spiraling Kings have found their footing again, winning 3 straight to sit 5 points up while having 2 games in hand.
Hopefully they win tonight, and head on this break in a decent situation. Canucks have a game tonight as well against a tougher opponent - the Leafs. However, they are on their last game of their 4-game road trip in which they have gone 3-0. Will they be tired and looking past this game? Flames really need these two points tonight to stay in this race. It is definitely not do or die, but it just feels like it for me.

at that point you still have 4 of your 'Cs' in the lineup (Zary on the wing) so Rooney feels even more superfluous

I don’t mind that. Lots of 4th line options.

Whiskey or Bourbon? You're after my own heart!
Where do you get these beautiful images of Calgary? I've got a photographer that I know and I have a couple of amazing shots of his in my office, I wanted a Calgary Skyline before they destroyed the Saddledome and I have that hanging in my office.
But your photos are quite nice.

The twitter link on Eric Francis’ story on Kylington doesn’t work. Does anyone have a working link to the article?

I would bring Kerins back up and put him in Rooney's spot.

Sad to say but at some point do they look at revamping the 4th line to generate more offense and roll Kerins, Klapka, Bishop, Pospisil and keep Lomberg and Rooney out?
Inject Lomberg for physical teams.

A kid line would easily outperform the current 4th line concept. Maybe Huska is team tank!
