Scoring Winger

Miromanov over Hanley is the only head scratcher for me. Hanley’s been more reliable and would allow Weegar to play his strong side. Otherwise I don’t mind these lines at all.

I still like either Hanley, or Bean paired with Weegar ahead of Miromanov, but that's me.
Hopefully, Pospisil helps drive the 4th line tonight, I bet he gets a point in this one.

Coronato needs a better playmaker than Backlund to set him up more. Huberdeau is your guy.
Hunt is a dependable winger, who has a bit of offense and knows how to play both sides of the puck well. It's a nice fit on Backlund's line, also because he's fresh up from the AHL and may need some support while he gets up to NHL speed.
I like the idea of Frost and Farabee together. They know each other's tendencies pretty well, and Sharky can clean up any lose pucks they generate in the offensive zone.
The 4th line has been drowning, and Klapka wasn't looking amazing the last couple games. Rooney is in by default since he's a center, but I hope Pospisil can get them to play in the offensive zone more. He's a pretty good catalyst on any line he joins, just doesn't have a ton of offensive skill to bury chanes.
Solovyov is a better skater and more physical than Hanley. This is a good upgrade IMO. Bean has been decent, and Miro didn't look completely out of place las time. Hanley and Barrie out is a good decision. Both have looked pretty poor of late.
I'm actually now looking forward to this game to see how all these changes work out.

Because if you scratch him your center depth then becomes:
Kadri
Frost
Rooney
Bishop
That's bad. Like crazy bad. Backlund at 75% is still better than either Rooney or Bishop getting more minutes.

Apparently Hanley left to be with his wife for the birth of their child.

Ultimately when everyone one is healthy I hope they try
Huberdeau Kadri Coronato
Zary Frost Farabee
Sharangovich Backlund Coleman
Lomberg Rooney Pospisil
Bahl Andersson
Weegar Hanley

I know I'm piling on the guy and its a minor quibble, but I'd prefer sliding Pospisil (clarifying- to Center at the expense of Rooney) over and going with someone else ( depending on what the agenda is that could be Klapka, Kerins, Hunt or Stromgren) as the 3rd 4th liner
at that point you still have 4 of your 'Cs' in the lineup (Zary on the wing) so Rooney feels even more superfluous

The Eastern European contingent of our team seems to be slowly whittled away....

clarifying- maybe was understood that I meant going Lomberg-Pospisil-Klapka (or other), so that line could be all yoked and somewhat Slovakian

Happy to see Coronato on the top line. Only makes sense having a shooter like him up there.

Very well. I shall find these conditions acceptable.
Release Eastern Europe!! And may God have mercy on your soul if Lomberg gets to you first....

I'd prefer getting a look at Zary-Frost-Coronato...
See if they can build some chemistry, because man the skill is certainly there.

I like this, with the exception of Rooney not being on the first rocket to the sun.
Could be a really interesting 2nd line.
