Tigers roar back from a 2-0 3rd period deficit and score three goals to eke out a 3-2 win over the Chiefs in Spokane tonight. McKenna in on all three Tigers goals.

PA beat Saskatoon and for the first time since early in the season the East division has a new team in first place. I suspect by seasons end the Blades will fall to 7th or 8th in the conference after being first or second for basically the whole season until last night.

PA gets the 2nd seed by default, but they are still behind Med Hat, Lethbridge, Calgary and Edmonton. The Central division has the top 4 teams in the conference (points and win %) right now.

Huge game between Lethbridge ad Calgary tonight. The Canes are on a 9 game winning streak and the Hitmen are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games, the only two losses in there were against the Tigers who are on an 8 game win streak. Arms race is right.

McKenna on a 22 game point streak, the last time he was held of the score sheet was November 2nd in Brandon. He has 47 points in those 22 games.

The Hitmen play Lethbridge and Edmonton three times each in their next 9 games. It will be interesting to see how they come out of this stretch. They also get Yakemchuk back tonight.

Hitmen ended the Canes 9 game win streak with a 3-2 win, and the Tigers now have a 9 game win streak on the go after defeating Tri-City.

Hurricanes still missing Marques, list as week to week. Last night they also didn't have Gustafson, hopefully nothing serious for him, he's been great since coming back.

Pretty big game tonight as the Hurricanes are in Edmonton to take on the Oil Kings. A Lethbridge win and the top three teams in the Central Division are certainly widening the gap between themselves and Edmonton.

Just curious, have you guys heard any rumblings about the Victoria Royals being up for sale? I was talking to a close friend over the weekend and he mentioned this to me and also that any sale could also mean a relocation for the Royals. I think the league/Royals owners are trying to keep this under wraps as much as possible.

I haven't heard anything.

I wonder where the hell they would relocate to?

Make it 10 in a row for the Tigers as they roll into Wenatchee and roll out with a 5-2 win. Marquee matchup tonight versus Everett.

Like Spinal Tap, the Tigers go to 11 with a 7-3 win over Everett. McKenna registered a hat trick that featured two short-handed goals.

They. Are. Rolling.

I keep harping on it, but this team is missing Cayden Lindstrom and Andrew Basha.

I watched the game on youtube last night and was struck by the Tigers team speed. Not just skating, but how quickly they moved the puck. Considering they were on the backend of a back-to-back having played Wenatchee on the previous night, that was quite the showing from the Tigers.

12 in a row now as the Tigers pummel Portland 7-2

McKenna with 3 points and a 25 game point streak. Opened up a 6 point lead in the scoring race. Ben Kindel moved into 2nd place, one point ahead of Cristall, that makes it two 17 year olds at the top of the scoring race for at least one night

The Hitmen pound Edmonton again, and Calgary/Medicine Hat are starting to separate themselves from Edmonton and even Lethbridge a little bit.

Streak is over, Tigers lose 4-3 in a shoot out to Seattle.

Molendyk was a late scratch and then Pickford decided it was a good idea to have a staged fight on his first shift and never returned. Played the whole game without their top 2 dmen.

If those two are out for a while it'll be pretty ####ing typical of how this season has gone.

Pickford still out, but Molendyk is back...

Tigers go into the 3rd with a 3-1 lead, and were still up 3-2 with 5 minutes remaining, but managed to lose 5-3 to the Broncos. First regulation loss in 14 games.

Weisblatt looked like he doled out a cheap head shot to Caswell with 10 seconds left so I wouldn't be surprised to see a suspension handed out today as they play PA at home tonight.

I wasn't there, but I heard rumblings that Basha and Lindstrom were spotted in the building. We know Basha isn't going to be back for a while, if at all, but being from CGY he's pretty close by so not shocking to hear he is hanging around. Lindstrom though, that's a different story. If he's actually back in the Hat one has to wonder.

The Hitmen almost blew it last night. Gave up 2 goals in the final 90 seconds of the third only to win it in overtime.

The Hitmen are now tied with the Tigers for first place in the Central Division and they have two games in hand. Crazy that while the Tigers were on that 12 game winning streak, the Hitmen kept winning games as well.

I think Lethbridge is a very good team as well but imo that both the Tigers and Hitmen are the two best teams in the conference.

I know it was a Tuesday night game in the dead of winter, but barely more than 2000 went to watch the hottest team in the league host one of the other hottest teams in the league in Calgary last night as the Hitmen took out the Canes 3-2 in OT. Pathetic. Highlights showed endless empty seats surrounding two of the best teams in the WHL as they faced off in a city of well over a million people.

Much more lopsided game on the shot clock though at 40-18 for the Hitmen. Hurricanes still without Gustafson and Marques. If they get those two back IMO they are just as dangerous as Med Hat and Calgary, but without them they are a tier below.

Tigers went to Saskatoon and won 5-3 to end their 0-1-2 losing skid. Just barely holding off the Hitmen for 1st in the Eastern conference by a point, but the Hitmen have 3 games in hand.
